Frequently asked questions

What is the main model pick?

The strongest available signal for the game. Other published markets are available on the game page.

Which markets are shown in the prediction list?

The list shows the winner and one selected total. Period and additional markets appear on the game page.

How is face-off time different from the update time?

Face-off time is the scheduled start of the game. The update time identifies the latest saved calculation.

Can I see how a prediction changed?

Yes. The game page shows saved pre-match revisions and how the probabilities changed.

Which team statistics are available?

Game pages show recent team form, goal averages and head-to-head results. The team ranking estimates current strength.

Does the model guarantee a result?

No. A forecast estimates probability. Check sample sizes, confidence and the history of results including errors.

When are predictions for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow published?

The calendar is available for seven days. Predictions are usually calculated within 36 hours before face-off, depending on scheduled updates and available data. Team form and prediction records are already available.

Do totals include overtime and shootouts?

New game totals cover the first three periods only. Older totals including overtime and shootouts are labelled as archived and evaluated separately. Match winner predictions include overtime and shootouts.
